Conditions of Entry
Please enter my yacht for the Ramsgate Week races. I agree to be bound by the Racing Rules of Sailing, prescriptions of the RYA, the Ramsgate Week Sailing Instructions and General Conditions and where appropriate IRC or Class Rules. I certify that the particulars of my yacht as stated on this form are correct.
I accept that neither the Royal Temple Yacht Club as host club, nor its representatives, shall bear any responsibility for any loss, damage, death or personal injury, howsoever caused, to any yacht, skipper or crew member. I undertake to hold a third party indemnity insurance of £3,000,000 for racing. I warrant the suitability of the yacht for the race(s) and accept full responsibility for the sea worthiness and safe navigation of the yacht, the competence of the crew, and for judging whether to start, continue or retire from any race in the existing or forecast conditions. I accept that any inspection of the yacht does not in any way limit my absolute responsibility in these respects.
Owners should draw notice of this disclaimer 'Risk and Responsibility Statement' to the attention of their crew members before the start of each race.
