How to enter?

Who sails at Ramsgate Week?
We have many different entries from full on race crews, 2 handed crews and the lads who like to have a gentle race in the sun (not to seriously)
How long are the races?
The inshore races are around 1 hour Gold Cup 2 hours Round the Goodwin's approximately 4 hours!
What does it cost?
The entry fees are laid out in the notice of race in the competitor's area. But to give you an idea its £45 per day or £160.00 for the full week (if you pay before end of May!)
Your mooring fees are separate and payable to the Marina when you arrive. (This fee is discounted to all Ramsgate Week Competitors).
Contact Ramsgate port control on channel 14 to request permission for entry. Contact Ramsgate marine on channel 80 for mooring info. If you have entered Ramsgate Week, the dock master will have your details and guide you to your designated berth.
Is the Goodwin Sands a danger?
We at Ramsgate have raced around and between the sands for many years. Although any shallow water poses possible danger there is plenty of water for racing and the courses are set being mindful of the dangers to navigation.
Are there any crew benefits?
Each boat is supplied with a RTYC bar discount card. Once you have pre charged you card it can be used to purchase drinks from the bar at a discounted rate. We have a great range of entertainment which include music from Rock to pop , 60's to the very popular 80's night where we encourage everyone to get dressed in the eighties theme!
How local are the amenities?
The RTYC club house can be seen from the harbour and is only 5mins walk with amazing views great beer and quality in house catering. There are an abundance of bars and restaurants around the marina to keep you fortified. Local supermarket is in walking distance.
